With nearly a decade of experience spanning creative direction, product design, brand strategy, and sales management, I have developed a unique skill set that blends data, insights, culture, sports, and music into compelling design solutions.
Campus Ink & NIL Store: My journey began at Campus Ink, where I transformed a small mom-and-pop shop into a venture-backed business with support from Mark Cuban. Starting on the production floor, I eventually took over the apparel landscape at the University of Illinois, building a team that enabled college students to earn money from apparel sales. By my junior year, I was managing the company and developed the Student Design & Sales Program, which now engages over 250 students and generates $4 million annually across 50 campuses.
Creative Direction & Product Design: As the Creative Director at the NIL Store, I led the design and rollout of the Urban Champs Brand, revolutionizing the landscape with the first private label solution for selling NIL jerseys wholesale. This initiative generated nearly $1 million in earnings for college athletes, establishing 63 live e-commerce stores and reaching over 9,000 athletes.
Advertising & Freelance Work: At Carol H. Williams Advertising, I spearheaded campaigns like Chevrolet's "Discover the Unexpected" and the 2020 Census Integrated Campaign, enhancing community engagement and brand visibility. My freelance career included impactful digital marketing projects with Hidlo Studios, creating engaging geofilters for high-profile events, and providing comprehensive advertising solutions, including web design, brand identity, and social media ads.
Technological Integration & Innovation: I thrive in fostering collaboration between clients, designers, and account managers, ensuring seamless project execution and timely deliveries. My recent participation in One School's exclusive advertising portfolio program, where I graduated as the Top Honor Student, has further refined my art direction, strategic thinking, and storytelling skills.
