With nearly a decade of experience leading design and brand development, I have successfully launched product lines and creative campaigns that have significantly boosted brand recognition, sales, and business development. My expertise spans brand identity, strategy, design standardization, team mentorship, and collaboration with manufacturers, ensuring high-quality output and efficient processes. My career is a tapestry of diverse experiences in creative direction, product design, brand strategy, and sales management. Each role I've taken has equipped me with a unique set of skills, allowing me to blend data, insights, culture, sports, and music into compelling design solutions.​​​​​​​
As the Senior Collegiate Sales Director at Campus Ink, I played a pivotal role in spearheading the development and successful launch of the Student Design & Sales Program. This groundbreaking initiative now engages over 250 students and generates $4 million annually across 50 campuses. I mentored and managed a dynamic team of over 90 student representatives, guiding them in sales, graphic design, and professionalism while contributing significantly to our business growth.
Transitioning to the Creative Director / Art Director role at the NIL Store, I led the design and rollout of the Urban Champs Brand, revolutionizing the landscape by introducing the first private label solution for selling replicas and fashion NIL jerseys wholesale. Through strategic creative direction and collaboration with athletes, we successfully generated nearly $1 million in earnings for college athletes, establishing 63 live e-commerce stores and reaching over 9,000 athletes.
My expertise extends beyond traditional roles, encompassing project management, tech sheet development, and streamlined design processes. I thrive in fostering collaboration between clients, designers, and account managers, ensuring seamless project execution and timely deliveries. Leveraging my extensive network of creative freelancers, I've consistently delivered innovative solutions that exceed client expectations.
In addition to my professional achievements, I've recently embarked on a journey to enhance my art direction skills by participating in One School's exclusive advertising portfolio school. Selected as one of 15 black creatives, I graduated as the Top Honor Student for the Fall Chicago 23 Cohort, showcasing my commitment to continuous learning and growth.
Outside of work, I'm passionate about exploring the intersection of creativity and technology. I've delved into the world of artificial intelligence, leveraging its capabilities to enhance design processes and drive innovation.
