Objective
In 2017, I collaborated with Hidlo Studios to design and manage geofilter campaigns for businesses on Snapchat. The main objective was to create engaging geofilters that enhanced event experiences and boosted social media engagement. These filters were used both during live events and in the lead-up to generate buzz and inform potential attendees about the performances, effectively driving awareness and participation through visually appealing and interactive designs.
Strategy:
Geofilter Design: Created unique, branded geofilters for each client, capturing their distinct style and appeal. These designs were visually striking and easily recognizable, encouraging users to share their experiences on social media.
Pre-Event Awareness: Deployed a series of geofilters in the weeks leading up to each event, using Snapchat's geolocation features to target areas with high potential attendee interest. This strategy aimed to build anticipation and increase awareness about the events.
On-Ground Engagement: Launched the geofilters during the live performances, allowing attendees to enhance their event photos and videos with branded filters. This provided a fun and interactive way for attendees to document their experiences and promote the events in real-time on social media.

Implementation:
Snapchat Ads: Utilized Snapchat ads to promote the geofilters, ensuring they reached a wide audience. These ads were targeted based on geolocation data, focusing on areas with high interest in live music and events.
Geolocation Targeting: Employed geolocation technology to ensure the geofilters were available in specific areas around the event venues and in key locations during the lead-up to the events. This targeted approach maximized visibility and engagement.

Outcome:
The geofilters were highly successful, driving significant engagement both before and during the events. Attendees widely shared the geofilters, amplifying the presence of each client on social media, increasing attendee satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the events.
Conclusion:
This project demonstrated my ability to lead a comprehensive digital marketing campaign across multiple clients, utilizing innovative strategies and tools to enhance event experiences and drive brand awareness. The successful deployment of geofilters showcased my expertise in combining creative design with strategic marketing to achieve impactful results for a diverse range of clients.
